Since 2004 Borderline Collective has been a market for Handicrafts made by a variety of Women Groups along the Thai-Burma border. Our shop in Mae Sot offers their items for sale to the visitors and inhabitants alike. Through this web site we hope to find a larger audience and improve the sales for our Women Group members who often finance community activities with the proceeds and whose members supplement their income.
The images on this site might slightly differ from the products as our members often use natural dye and sometimes organic cotton. Due to the fact that these products are handmade using tools that are also hand made, not all products are 100% equal. We at Borderline feel that that is the beauty of these products.
Our Women Group members and we at Borderline have our quality check procedures to guarantee that you receive a well made product, produced under fair circumstances.
