Since our first version in 2007, we have sold thousands of our CookBook with most dishes from the menu of our Restaurant in Mae Sot. Selected by Mo Mo and Bo Bo, the first staff at our Restaurant, it has been expanded over the year by newer staff.
Those who come to do one of our cooking classes, receive a free copy as part of the experience. There are 52 pages and 32 recipes in 4 categories. There are snacks, salads, main courses and drinks all from the different areas of Burma.
The book is illustrated by some of the artists who form the Borderline Gallery Collective and Bo Bo wrote some back ground information in addition to the recipes.
The recipes are clearly written and although some ingredients might be too South East Asian, with some adaptations these dishes can easily be reproduced at home.
Printed on recycled paper with some of the ink plant based by a small local printer.
Saying that, the best place to eat these wonderful dishes is at Borderline Collective Tea Garden & Restaurant in Mae Sot.
